10 Improvements for Grocery Stores

1. Have an app that contains an updated map of the store.
• This would then decrease the amount of time spent walking around the store.
• It would likely end up with fewer chips bought
2. Have a band playing
• This would just be a fun thing to have
3. Have phone scanning system to make purchasing easier
• When you scan something, it would be charged to your account and then you could leave without going to the checkout
4. Make deals with food banks to pick up old stock
• I think this exists in some places, but it should be everywhere
5. Have stations where items can be searched
• It would be able to tell you if it is in stock and where to find it
6. Have a recipe book at the front
• It would have all the ingredients and the place to find them in the store
7. Have more self checkouts
• I like to leave places as fast as possible
8. Scan item and see reviews
• I am guessing there is already an app for that
9. Have suggested recipes for each product when scanned with phone
• There might be an app for this too
10. Have a chef giving demonstrations on how to cook things
• This would be good for starving students who can not cook. They could finally learn.

10 Improvements For 7-11

1. Have skeleton locations
• I imagine these locations would offer mostly the chicken and some of the drinks and chips. It would be about half the size of a regular 7-11.
• I want this because I live in a small town without a 7-11
2. More meal combos
• It would be nice to save money when ordering new foods
3. Eating area
• Then people could just eat at the store and might even buy more food.
4. Drive through gas and coffee
• This would be pretty fancy for 7-11, but it would be awesome.
5. Have more to go mugs
• I am talking about the ones that can be bought at the counter
• Whenever I want one I cannot find the one I want
6. Have insulated meal containers for sale
• This would be good for those who want to keep their chicken warm for longer
7. Have news scrolls around the building
• This would free up space where the newspapers are located
• No one actually buys the newspapers anyways
8. Scan newspapers and have it loaded directly to Google account
• This would make the newspaper stand have some purpose, but it could be replaced with a list of barcodes to choose from
9. Make it an Amazon pick-up location
• I just learned about these and think all convenience stores should think about it
• It would drive in a lot more traffic and would not take too much work
10. Have the location and meeting times of different groups
• This would be nice for those who travel and want to participate in various communities.

10 Improvements for Planes

1. Make them go faster
• This is an obvious one, but I think it should be said
2. Line it with solar panels
• If this is feasible, it would allow more power to be generated for passengers to use to power their electronics and stuff
3. Allow people to buy an extra seat for their luggage
• This is for the individuals who are terrified of losing their luggage
4. Allow people to drink their own alcohol
• The amount the airline's charge is ridiculous
5. Have dogs on the plane
• I like dogs and think it would be cool if a couple were just walking around the plane
6. Better soundproofing 
• I am sure the soundproofing is excellent, but it is still pretty loud
7. Have a smoking room
• I see lots of people just go nuts because they have not had a smoke for 6 hours. It would be better for everyone if they got some relief.
8. Have a meetup system
• This way people could make friends on long flights instead of just annoying each other
9. Have an app where you can check in if you want
• It would be cool to see who you are flying with
10. Have computer available to use
• It might be easier to pass the time

10 Improvements for Highways

1. High Speed Internet along the highway
• This will happen someday, because as we see now how cities are getting covered with wifi, I guess highways will be next
• It could be profitable if you charge for it and offer plans
• Also, I am talking about wi-fi not 4G LTE and such 
2. Solar panels on highways or ditches
• It would be a good use of highway if solar cells could be built inside
• Ditches would be easier as you just set them up
• It might be ugly, but it would be a good use of mostly unused land
• The other plus here is that highways are usually close to powerlines
3. Build in Rails as an optional form to travel
• This will be if people build wheels for rails in their vehicles
• I do not know if this is more efficient than the current system. If we ever get room temperature superconductors we could build a system so that cars propel themselves forward using extremely high currents, through the rails, interacting with the earth's magnetic field. That would be more efficient than the current system.
• If humanity accomplishes building a system like this vehicles would move practically for free

4. Build charging stations every 100km
• This would make driving electric cars a feasible option for people living in rural areas

• Some drones would good as well
• This is to find individuals who have crashed in the ditch and need help
• The drone or robot would alert help when they detect a vehicle in distress
6. Have self-serve food things
• these would have to be durable 
• They would give basic food like granola bars and maybe coffee
7. Have info about attractions broadcasted to phones
• I do not know what type of communication would be good for this, but I imagine museums and such just broadcasting their presence to people
8. Make stories from cardboard cutouts
• This would be good entertainment for long drives
• It would be like those Christmas stories with chocolates that kids get at Christmas
9. Make side rails with advertisements
• It might make the highway safer, and it would pay for itself
10. Have a hitchhiker pick up app
• This way the hitchhiker could see who is picking them up and the person picking them up could see who the hitchhiker is

10 Improvements For a Fridge

1. Child lock for beer and other goodies
• The whole fridge could be locked too
• I think this would be a great idea for parents who do not want their child to drink
2. Phone messages for when things need to be ordered
• This would require the fridge to have some computing power making it smart
• I just think it would be awesome to get a text message from my fridge saying to get milk or something
3. Meal Idea Generator
• Just ask your fridge what you should make, and it will respond back to you 
• this is only if it has the meal idea generator
4. Text message scolding for eating unhealthy
• Imagine your fridge scolding you for eating to much fudge
• I would also enjoy hearing a comedian, like Eddie Murphy, sending a prerecorded message to my phone scolding me
• The best voice to use might just be Barak Obama
5. Monitor temperature from phone
• This would be good to save money and to have more control over the fridge
6. Specific drawers with different temperatures
• This would work well at keeping beer ice cold while not freezing bottled water
7. A voice that gives you suggestions
• The fridge says"Are you looking for something to eat or drink."
• You reply "Drink."
• Fridge answers "May I recommend the Sleeman Honey Brown Lager you bought last night."
• You "that sounds terrific."

• That elusive ketchup bottle will be easy to find now
9. Quote a number of calories in any food
• Now it is easy to know exactly how many calories are in ketchup
10. Compare food prices and recommend changes
• Could be going to a new place or just buying a different food that is similar either it will help to save money

10 Improvements for Crave TV

1. Be able to set the quality of video
• This way you could use less data if you wanted to
2. Be able to access other episodes from the My Cravings section
• This way I could go back a couple of episodes I missed while sleeping
3. Give option to see bios of characters when they appear
• This would be nice sometimes and be annoying other times
• The bios would scroll across the screen
4. Have a described video option for the visually impaired
• CraveTV might have this already but if they do not it is an excellent idea
5. Air old sports games
• I do not think the rights to these games cost much and I for one would love to watch some
6. Give a self-publish video option
• Now I imagine that CraveTV would have to go through and make sure all the videos are of high quality and check for copyright infringements
• I am not saying that they should have vloggers on CraveTV, but if someone wanted to make a documentary on frogs or something I would let them put it up
7. Add in trailers of similar shows and movies before displaying the movie
• I might be one of the few people in the world to say this, but I LIKE WATCHING THE COMING ATTRACTIONS BEFORE A FILM. 
8. Give the name of the author of the book if it is based off a book
• It would be nice to know the book before the movie so I would like to be told about the book before the film starts
9. Have preloaded trivia to display when buffering
• I have bad internet at times so it would be pleasing to do some trivia while waiting
10. Add a news scroll to the bottom 
• Then it would be easy to keep up with the news while watching Star Trek

10 Improvements for Hockey

1. Take away offsides
• I think it would be a faster game and at the very least we would not waste time waiting for refs to decide if it was offside after a coaches challenge
• It would be an interesting experiment
2. Take the instigator rule away
• If this rule did not exist then, maybe there would be less dirty hits and injuries
• The other reason is to decrease stick infractions
• If there is the option to fight people would likely take that option instead
3. Increase penalty severity for stick infractions
• A hockey stick is a lethal weapon, and no player should be allowed to use it as a weapon
4. Put data collectors on player
• Something like accelerometers, pulse readers and others
• The accelerometer would be great for fans to see exactly how fast players are moving 
• A pulse reader would be useful for medical purposes and entertainment purposes
5. Make the All-Star Game mean something
• It is a meaningless game right now, and nobody takes it seriously
• If they made some sort of award or something, maybe players would take it seriously
• I do understand that it is meant to be fun, but I do like to see a little bit of competitive spirit 
6. Take the goaltending triangle away
• This rule is in the NHL and other leagues, but not all leagues
• It is a stupid rule that prevents goalies from playing the puck when it is outside their triangle 
• I would like to see goalies play the puck more, and taking this rule out would help
7. Make concussion protocol universal
• I just learned that in international play that there is no concussion protocol 
• All players should have to be looked at if there is any chance they have a concussion
• Concussions have caused too much hurt in the hockey world for it to be ignored
8. Take away the kicking in rule
• This rule says you can not kick the puck in for a goal
• I think that you should be able to kick the puck in any way you want
9. Take away handpass rule
• This rule says that you can not pass the puck with your hand
• I do not see what is the benefit of this rule
10. Put a sensor on the puck to know its exact location
• It would be a great thing to have if there is a debate as to whether or not the puck crossed the line

10 Improvements For My Rink

1. Boards made from some kind of rubber band
• It would be an enormous rubber band that would extend all around the rink
• It would have to make the pucks bounce back 
• It could have designs and stuff to make it look nice
2. A second net
• I don't have a second net, and it would be nice to have one
3. High backboards so that the pucks do not fly over the net
• It 'd be good not to have to walk out and pick up pucks half the time I am out there
4. A Roomba-like Zamboni
• It would zip around on the ice like a Roomba does on the floor, but instead of sucking up garbage it would put a thin film of hot water on the ice
• It would be incredible if I could get all the small cracks created by my skating without doing any work
5. Unlimited hot water
• It would be great if I could get a hot water heater and water down by my ice
• It would be so easy to flood the ice if I had this
6. A goalie that moves side to side
• This goalie could be attached to tracks and then move side to side on the tracks
• It would make it more challenging to score on the net
7. A puck that runs away 
• This puck would move on its own unless it were under the control of a person
• It could also be placed under the control of a cell phone or remote control
8. Have a passer machine
• It would be like the machines in batting cages 
• This way I could practice my one-timers
9. A shovel that extends end to end and moves on tracks
• Depending on how close it runs to the ice it will be seen how much snow needs to be shoveled
• Even if only the rough stuff is taken off I would be happy
10. A robot with a shovel
• This would take the workload off of me

10 Improvements for TV

1. Reminds the viewer to eat
• This does not happen to me, but I am sure some people forget to eat when watching TV
2. Tells the viewer to go to bed
• Instead of asking if you are still watching would it not be awesome if the TV yelled at you saying to either go to bed or watch TV
• It would do it late at night when you have not used the remote for a couple of hours
3. Switches channel automatically when commercials come up
• This for people who channel flip anyways when ads come up
• I doubt this would happen since TV makes money from commercials
4. Gives messages encouraging you to stop watching 
• This would be for people trying to stay in shape
• It would start doing this after couple of hours of TV watching
5. Suggest you get popcorn
• This is for individuals who do not want to be in shape and instead want to eat popcorn
• I would love this since I always think the day after how good popcorn would have tasted
6. Ability to order pizza
• This would be done by voice command 
• I would like the pizza to come out of the TV, but this is probably to outlandish
7. Controls household appliances
• This way the oven could be started and ready to cook those wings as soon as a commercial break comes up
8. Gives suggestions for snacks based on what is on
• If sports are on then, it would suggest wings, mozza sticks or other things that are good for watching sports
• If a movie is on than chips, pop, or everybody's favorite snack popcorn could be suggested
9. When paused gives movie trivia
• This is for the people left staring at a paused screen while someone goes to the bathroom or gets snacks
10. Combine Sattelite and Android TV
• Our internet is at times not good where I live, so we still need satellite for times when the internet is not working
• This might be unrealistic as Sattelite providers may not want to cooperate with this idea

1. Heated / Cooler seats
• Would be controlled by phone or remote and only affects the cushion the controller is sitting on
2. Speakers Built-in
• This way it would be incredibly easy to hear your TV 
3. Blue tooth to connect directly to TV or phone
• This would help with the speakers and Heated / Cooler seats
4. Massage Cushions
• I would love to get a massage while watching Star Trek
5. A cooler built into a cushion
• This is a cooler for beer not like the Cooler seats from above
• It would be awesome to have unlimited cold beer while watching hockey
6. Control temperature and other stuff with voice commands
• It could control recliners the temperature of the seats and other things
7. Have 4D effects built in
• I experienced these at Disney and I think some could surely be put into an everyday couch
8. Have blankets inside that present themselves by voice command
• These blankets would have to be under the couch in a container
9. Sing lullabies or soothing music when falling asleep
• It would play from the speakers when asked to 
10. Be able to change cushion softness
• This could be done by voice command 
• There are beds with variable cushion softness so why not couches

1. Cushions
• I have noticed a lot of kitchen chairs do not have cushions or have crappy cushions
2. Heat and Cool
• This is a chair that changes temperature to make it more comfortable for you
• I imagine that this would be controlled by either a phone or a remote control
3. Cracks Funny Jokes when no one is talking
• This might be a little bit uncomfortable if it was an awkward silence in a high-stress situation
• The chair would have to know when someone is sitting on it
• It would need a speaker
4. Records your weight
• This might not be the best time to see how fat you are, but maybe it will make you think twice about getting seconds
5. Records your beers and platefuls
• This might require a connection between the plate and beer to the chair
• This would require smart beer cans, smart plates, and smart chairs
6. Takes data from clothes and stuff to test for diseases
• I read that there will be stuff to analyze our poop, in the toilet, in a couple of decades to look for disease
• If our toilet is going to be helping out why shouldn't our kitchen chair

• This way music could be streamed and played by the kitchen chair
8. Reminds the people about food in the stove
• Then those delecious dishes that are in the stove cooking for after supper do not burn while people are talking about useless crap

1. A compound inside to prevent hangovers
• It would be nice to drink like there is no tomorrow without getting a hangover
• If it made it taste bad, then it would be useless

• This might work if the one above is impossible

• This would only work for smart beer cans
• It would be cool to see how long it takes to drink a beer

• A review on the can of how to play poker would be helpful

• Then you would be able to see exactly how much you drank

• Imagine a beer can asking questions waiting and then answering them for you. It would be fun for the whole family

• Each can could have 10 jokes that it tells unless you press the off button

• I would imagine it would know by knowing how long it was opened for

Most of these would require a smart beer can which we are a couple of years away from, but it will be coming.

10 Improvements for Bars

1. Self-serve Beer Tap
• Who does not want to get themselves a beer whenever they want while at a bar?
•  I imagine this tap would be like card lock gas stations.
•  If I were the owner, I would only give them to people I trust, and not people who fight and break things when they drink too much.
2. Show a running total so people know how much they spent
• This total will be spoken by the waiter or displayed by the computer if you are using the self-serve beer tap from above.
•  This would be a nice reminder, and it might prevent overspending.
• It is doubtful that a bar owner would do this because they usually want you to spend lots of money.
3. Have some sort of running lottery
• I would like to play bingo or something at the bar
• My Uncle told me they used to have 50 cent lotto that is like scratch tickets at the bar. 
4. Have cots in the back for people to sleep for cheap or free
• This is for the people who drink too much to drive
• The reasons lots of people do not go to the bar where I live because they do not want to drive drunk
• I would go and get drunk more often if this was at a bar close to me.
5. Have Bluetooth headphones streaming comedy for people to enjoy
• This would be fun for your whole table or just yourself if you want to be anti-social 
6. Keep a list up front of people who want to meet people
• This would be nice for adventuresome people who are sick of tinder
• In this scenario, the bartender would either introduce you to someone or just point them out in the crowd
7. Keep some cheap tablets for people to play with or order drinks
• They have to be cheap or else destructive drunk people would end up costing money
8. Have Breathalyzers at the bar 
• The reason for this is obvious
• if they fail, they can sleep in one of the cots from above 
9. Have a heated smoking area 
• Something like a porch with a little deck heater 
• I think of this for my friends, because when I go to visit them, it is usually unbearably cold
10. Have a reward system for repeat costumers
• It would be awesome to get free drinks for next time after getting blackout drunk
11. Have information about alcoholism
• I thought I would add this as lots of people waste their lives in bars and it would be better for society if they did something useful
• There are things like this about gambling in casinos, where I live, and they make lots of money, so I do not see how it would hurt business too much
